Ever watched a movie in your iPad? I haven’t tried it since I got my iPad because I am not really into movies. If others use their iPads in watching movies, I only use my iPad for social media and work-related stuff. Last night, I wanted to try the entertainment features of my iPad so I decided to copy hubby’s downloaded movies in my iTunes folder. Unfortunately, it won’t work so I had to search google how to transfer movies to iTunes and finally sync it with my iPad2. Mr. Google said I need to convert the movie files because it’s not compatible with the iPad2. I then downloaded Wondershare – the video converter. After converting my chosen movie, I was able to watch it but there is a “wondershare” watermark in the middle of the screen. So distracting! However, I and hubby enjoyed watching Toy Story 3 while in bed.
In between watching the movie (I have to pause it a lot of times to attend to other things), I was able to post a status in my FB account. Glad I did because an online friend commented I can watch movies/videos in my iPad via wifi so I won’t be downloading the files to the iPad. I just have to install the AIRPLAYIT app from the App store. Great! My concern on memory space was solved. So I can enjoy watching more movies now. Yay! I hope I can catch up this time because I’ve been too behind when we talk about movies.

Without second thoughts, I immediately installed AIRPLAYIT app then downloaded the AIRPLAYIT server from airplayit.com in my laptop. The server (my laptop) was automatically configured. After adding the source folder of the movies from my laptop, I was able to access it to my iPad and viola! I am watching Cars 2 movie after a few clicks!

Oh! This is a very helpful post! I also use my iPad for blog updates and freelance work. I didn’t know I could watch movies without downloading clips. Thank you!
Glad you find it helpful, Algene! Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment.
the video is streamed via laptop?
