Someone once said, being a parent changes you. It is a neutral statement, because for some people, parenthood brings in bitterness and frustration, while for some it could bring sheer joy. It is true that kids change you. For one, your schedule will be changed– you would find yourself wide awake at night when you could have been sleeping sans the baby.
Your spending would be changed, too. The baby’s needs come first. Parenthood makes one selfless, which is actually a good thing. Other baby needs would be a baby jogger stroller for afternoon walks in the park, a crib, toys—not to mention baby food and milk… and clothes that they would outgrow before you even know it. Sure, having a baby is expensive these days, but they are life’s rewards. Having them are great blessings.
